What I Wore

{Wore: Dress + Chambray Shirt – Madewell // Boots – Dolce Vita // Bracelet – The Style Hatch}

It’s no secret that I’m loving chambray right now. I’m always trying to find fun + new ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe. The weather in California lately tends to be cold in the morning, warm up for a couple hours in the afternoon, then as the sun goes down it cools off again, so needless to say it’s been hard to find cute outfits that will last through the random weather.

Recently I’ve started experimenting with pairing some of my favorite summer dresses with my Chambray shirt + some cute boots. This silk Madewell dress, paired with Chambray made for a fun combination for my son’s 3rd birthday party this past weekend. Even though the dress is made of silk, the chambray shirt gives it a casual feel that allows me to wear it during the day.

What do you think? Chambray + a dress perfect for fall?

This week I’m linking up with my sweet friend Lindsey for some style inspiration.
