Style with Stitch Fix

A couple weeks ago, I attended Alt Summit Conference in SLC + let me tell you fashion is a big deal at this conference. Was it intimidating? You bet! Was I up for the challenge? Absolutely, especially with the help with my girls over at Stitch Fix.  They sent me some amazing pieces that together we styled into both day time and evening wear. I thought that rather than bombard you with a million outfit pictures, I’m going to make a mini series out of it + show you ways to style the pieces I got for both day and night. Keep in mind I’m a mama of two little ones so whatever I wear needs to work for me all day long no matter what I’m doing or where I’m headed and most nights I’m tired so if I’m headed out, it’s always helpful when the transition is easy.

 Let’s Talk about Daytime

If you were following along with me via Twitter + Instagram while I was at the conference, you probably saw me style this top. I actually originally wore it with boot leg Hudson Jeans, but felt, looking back, that the overall look wasn’t my favorite. So now that I’m home, I’m showing you how I would style it if I got to do it over. This silk top is great and it’s comfy. I paired it with a simple tank because it’s a little low cut and I try to keep the girls in when I’m bending over. hehe I really love how this look came together paired with skinny jeans and large earrings as accessories. During the day I still love to wear heels, but they need to be a wedge or chunkier heel because I’m usually picking up my kids or pushing a stroller.

Let’s talk about Night Time

I don’t know about you, but as a mom, I love outfits that I can transition from day to night with ease. Since this top is silky, to head out for a night out with the hubby or my girlfriends, all I need to do is add a cute jacket (in this case my leather jacket) and some cute heels and voila! Transition from day to night complete.

This is just the first of several outfits I’m going to show you how to style with the help of Stitch Fix. If you haven’t had a chance to check them out, you absolutely must! If you’re a mama or just a workin’ on the go woman, this company is for you! All you do is sign up, fill out your profile and schedule you’re first Fix. My favorite part? It’s not a monthly commitment, you can schedule a fix as often as you want and it’s delivered in a beautifully decorated box right to your door. Then you can try on all the clothes from the comfort of your own home, keep the ones you want + ship back the ones you don’t. Easy, peasy right?! Go sign up + be sure to tell me when you’re getting your first Fix because I can’t wait to see what you get.

I’m linking up with my sweet friend Lindsey this week for some fashion inspiration.

I love the easy way you switched up the outfit for different needs! Though I don’t think I could ever walk in that second pair of heels you had–I’m heel-challenged.
