Last week I shared with you the 1st Edition of my Alt Summit outfits. For me, if I’m going to purchase a piece of clothing, I need it to be something I can see myself wearing many different ways. That’s why I love Stitch Fix!! They are always great about sending me a variety of pieces I can mix + match to create great day to night style.
Let’s talk about Daytime Style:
Words cannot even express how much I love this outfit! It’s no secret that mustard yellow is one of my favorite colors so when I unwrapped this sweater from it’s tissue I may have let out a giant squeal of excitement. And the top? Well of course I had to pair it with this sweater! Bold pattern + bold color = one happy mama! Both pieces are really comfy and this is an outfit I can head to a work meeting in or head to the grocery store.

Let’s talk about Night Time Style:
I know I’ve shared before about mixing + matching patterns and colors. This outfit was a bold move even for me, but I absolutely love how it call came together. Originally I was going to style this top and jacket with black denim skinny’s and black boots, but at the last minute I changed my mind and I’m so glad I did. I wore this outfit on the last night of Alt Summit when I headed out to dinner with some Pollinate Media and local SLC blogger friends. Even though I know cropped skinny’s and heels were a little risqué for snowy weather, I didn’t freeze too horribly. This outfit is, however, perfect for an evening out in Southern California! I paired it with chunky, gold jewelry + I think it really rounded out the outfit. Of course, you don’t need to pair it with chunky jewelry especially since you’re combining patterns and colors, you could choose to minimize accessories + still have a great look for an evening out.

The bottom line is that even though I am a mama of two littles, there are times when I want to be a mama but still feel like a person. I’ve struggled for a long time to discover my style, learn how to add color in my wardrobe and not be afraid to try something new. Stitch Fix allows me to shop in the comfort of my own home + experiment with styles I never thought would look good on me. It’s so great to know that there’s a stylist in my corner helping me with my quest to still have the opportunity to be fashionable + be a Mama.
Which one’s your favorite look? Have you signed up for Stitch Fix yet?
Top: Collective Concepts Arinell Triangle Print Tank
