Let’s talk about floral prints + how perfect they are as we slowly roll into spring. I’ve had this top in my closet for a year now and have always had trouble finding ways to style it. I bought it because I loved the muted teal and peach tones and knew that I could have some fun pairing spring colored cardigans with it. So I’m dusting it off + showing you a could fun ways to style spring floral prints.
#1 Pair it with denim skinny’s.
Grab a pair of denim skinny’s from your closet, roll the hem + add a cute pair of wedges. The wedges give you some height and actually make your calves looks skinny. Since I have bigger calves and thighs, I’m always looking for ways to make them look slimmer than they are.

#2 Pair it with Colored Skinny’s
As I was searching my closet for an alternative to regular denim to wear with my floral top, I found my mint skinny’s from Target. Once again Target saves the day. With a mint green accent in the floral patter, I knew my skinny’s would be a great match for this top. I’m not 100% sure I love the mustard cardigan with the mint skinny’s, but I think it could be fun. I think this outfit would be perfect for a play date or coffee date with girlfriends.

So what do you think? Do you have a fun floral top you can style into spring this year?

You are beautiful girl!! I’m also a big fan of florals + stripes or dots – I wonder how that would look with those adorable polka dotted skinnies? Or maybe some crazy flare jeans for a hippie vibe?
Love it!

Thank you so much friend!!
I bet florals would look great with polka dot skinny’s. I just ordered some from Stitch Fix, so I’ll have to try paring those!!!

You look fresh and springy…but florals scare the bejesus out of me. ; )
So cute – you wear it well! I have seen florals everywhere this year, I think a sweet blouse will work well this season!

Love the colors, and I think both looks work. I love florals, but somehow, I never wear them. These were great pairings.

Very cute top. You and I have similar body types, but I have yet to wear skinnies. I admire your moxy! You look great! Also, your instinct re: the mustard cardi with the mint skinnies is dead-on IMO. I think the pink cardi would have matched the mint better. Otherwise, you look lovely!
Both looks are cute! Have you jumped on the floral denim trend? Because I have a pair of those and could use some ideas like this for what to pair them with!

I really like both ways you styled it! My immediate reaction would be to go with the jeans, but I love the colored ones too!
