Whew, what a whirlwind week this week. I feel completely spoiled because my weekend really began on Wednesday night when my bestie from high school (yup, we met when we were 15!) + her hubby came into town and stayed with us for 2 days on their way to Palm Springs. We hadn’t seen each other in quite a few years so it was fun to catch up.
Then in the midst of their visit I had the incredible honor of being invited by my sweet friend Ashley to attend the Petunia Picklebottom store launch + see their new coroporate offices in Ventura, which are AMAZING!!!! The Ventura store is the first Petunia store and let me tell you they did an incredible job! I’m not going to lie it was a bit of a drive on a weekday, but I got to carpool with Nat, Summer + Andrea, so it was nothing but laughter and fun in the car despite the traffic. I think my favorite part of the whole party was having the opportunity to hear from CEO + Founder DeNai. Y’all she is inspiration + we got to hear some inside scoop on what’s next for PPB + you’re going to be thrilled! Then after the party all the girls headed to BJ’s for some dinner and more laughter. Don’t worry I have plenty more pictures from the event to show you soon… In the meantime, here’s a wee little sneak peek.

Well I have a dentist appointment Valentine’s morning. Then I’m going to work and then I’m going to Zumba. Nothing romantic at all. Normal day. Lol.
As a family, we went out for dinner on Mon 1/28 (we have two grown boys, and a soon to be daughter-in-law, and finding a night everyone is available is tough!) to a great Middle Eastern restaurant…so on Valentines Day itself, my husband and I will celebrate with a quiet dinner at home, and some snuggling on the couch as we watch TV. I’ll add in some chocolate and wine for me…… ha!

Welp, since we live and work in an orphanage in Thailand, we are going to make crafts with the kids. Once they are in bed then we’ll go to the beach, drink a glass of wine and watch the sunset!

Time alone with my sweetie.
My parents hated each other and each year pretended to be in love on Valentine’s Day. I’ve always hated that. My husband and I are completely in love after 18 years and tell each other every day. Every day is Valentine’s Day with him!
I have some fun things for the kids, and probably just a fun dinner at home! Hubs is treating me to a spa day this weekend since he will be out of town.
