DIY Christmas Card Frame

It’s no secret that I love Christmas time!!

The lights on homes

Cooler weather

Being able to don my favorite boots + scarf on a daily basis.

More than that I love it when my mailman starts delivering beautiful Christmas cards in my mailbox.

Every year I love finding ways to showcase all the cards we receive and then after Christmas, I trim them down and keep them on display all year long.

It’s such a great reminder of the friendships we have + to pray for those friendships throughout the year.

This year I I took a beautiful, distressed frame I got at the last Queen Bee Market, add a little twine and…

Voila! I’ve got a great spot to hang my Christmas cards.

Here’s what you need:

~ Frame

~ Twine

~ Scissors

~ Mini Clothes Pins

Here’s how to put it together:

I love this project because it’s quick + easy to complete. In less than 10 minutes I have a great way to feature my Christmas cards and you will too.

FIRST, Grab your supplies

SECOND, Wrap your twine from one edge to the other. You can either go straight across like I did or you can wrap the twine in a diamond pattern. It’s totally up to you.

Once you’re done, you can use mini clothes pins to hang your pictures from the twine. All that’s left is finding a great place to hang or display your Christmas Card frame.

Happy Crafting friends!

  1. So cute! But you need to show everyone what you do with them AFTER Christmas – it’s too neat! Ps. Love that our card is on there! ;-)

This is a really cute Idea! And I can imagine using it throughout the whole year, switching out the x-mas cards with b-day cards or invitations we recieve. I need to find a cute frame now.
