Hi loves,
I’m so excited to be teaming up with Natalia and Kelley for Copy Cat Closet this week.
Let me tell you I was a little nervous trying to come up with a theme this week, but I hope you all took me up on the challenge + I can’t wait to see what outfits y’all came up with!
Here are my tips for styling an outfit that mixes patterns and colors.

{Style: Paige Skinny’s Colored Denim // Plaid Top – Stitch Fix // Sweater – Madewell}

Friends confidence is key! If you are comfortable in what you’re wearing + you love the way you look… roll with it!!! Don’t be afraid to try something new.

Here’s another outfit I tried this week combining some fun colors + patterns. The mustard yellow tights were out of my comfort zone, but I ended up really liking the outfit.
So how did you do? Did you enjoy the challenge?

Hi + welcome to my little spot in the blogesphere.
I'm so glad you stopped by.

I hope you’ll pop around and stay for a while.

Thanks so much for hosting with us! You’re adorable! And that last outfit, the mustard and blue is to die for. I would copy it to a t if that wasn’t too creepy… haha You look great as always!

I think mustard and blue go together very well–but I still can’t stand the way mustard looks with my skin tone. I guess I’ll just have to stick to the ‘cool’ colors. The pattern on your cardigan is so unique! I’ve never seen one like that before.
I don’t have anything that fun in my closet. All I have is black pants and solid sweaters. Of couse I haveto
to dress business casual for work – whatever that means. And since I ride the bus sometimes
knowing I’ll be warm take priority. But one of my goals for the new year is to get a better
wardrobe. Thanks for this post!
I love your ability to mix patterns and colors Alissa! And I’m so in love with the dress/cardigan outfit you have picked out for ALT…it is such a fun pairing! I linked up my WIWW post!

I don’t have that kind of color in my arsenal – I’m more like a penguin!
