Hi friends,
Thank you so much for joining me for coffee this week. I’m so grateful for each one of you and love reading and watching your posts each week. This weeks vlog was emotional and hard for me, mostly because anytime a chapter ends it’s hard, but I’m excited for the beginning of what God has next for me. Thanks for bearing with me as I shared my heart today.

Hi + welcome to my little spot in the blogesphere.

I hope you’ll pop around and stay for a while.

Oh wow, Alyssa…this must have been so hard for you! I’ve been following for months now, watching how successful you’ve become, and seeing your blog grow like crazy…I don’t comment often, but read all the time! This must have been so difficult, but it is comforting to know that decisions like this can be made, when faced with a crossroads. Thank you so much for being an inspiration! Good luck on your journey, and I will hopefully be back to link up later {for my first vlog!}
Man, transitions are tough for me! I know its hard to think about letting go of something that has been a part of you for so long, but this just means bigger things are coming. Thanks for your honesty and openness!
I’m so proud of you honey! I know how difficult of a decision this must have been for you since you have been so creative with the shop. It takes a lot of maturity to not only listen to what God is saying to you, but to obey even when it’s difficult. You are accepting your limitations and realizing what your priorities need to be – your great, supportive husband and my amazing grandchildren! You noticed I said “my. I love you and am so excited to see you grow and become more confident with Pollinate Media Group!!! I’m excited that I was there when it was starting!!! Now before everything is gone from the shop, I need 6 clutches by Christmas!!!!
Love you friend! Can’t wait to see what exciting things are ahead!
I can’t imagine how hard this must have been to talk about. I am sure that God is going to do an awesome thing through this and I am so impressed by your husband’s and your’s faith to follow what He’s telling you.
I am sure you’re leave a wonderful legacy for your family.
So interesting you should share this. My husband and I have been having many discussions along these lines lately as well. Always interesting to see the path God has others on and what He is doing in their lives. Thanks for sharing your heart.
I think this is a great decision for you. You’ve had some awesome opportunities and now with PMG you’re going to have even more. We were never intended to be stagnant and you’re understanding of the need for growth and change (scary though it may be at times) just goes to show why you’ll exceed in all you do.
I am happy for your new chapter, although I am sure it may have been a hard decision to make. I know I am know where near as busy with my handmade business or my new blog, but I too struggle juggling all this sometimes. All while being a mom and a wife. I think we all want to be ‘Super Woman’ at times and juggle everything with out breaking a sweat, when in reality we can’t. I think being able to know what your limits are is far more substantial as a Business Woman and as a Mom/Wife for that matter.
I love stopping by to see what you have to share. You keep me inspired to keep moving forward, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel while just starting out!
Thank you for the Movitvation!
Heidi

I absolutely adore your honesty. To say everything that you did and to be so open with all of us makes you a fabulous blogger! We all understand you can’t do 1,000 things at once and it’s great that you’re realizing that too! Enjoy the time off with your kids, focus on Pollinate, and just enjoy yourself Alissa
So proud of you that you can step back, listen to Him, and do what you must to make life work for you and your family.
PS love you back!
I am SO happy to have discovered this. It’s my first time visiting your blog, although I’ve been following you on Twitter for a long time. I’ve been thinking through a lot of the same questions recently and trying so hard to listen to God and follow his plan. Plus, I’ve been reminded constantly lately that family is the most important thing in my life. I’m about to get married and can’t wait to have kids. That legacy is so important to me, too. So thank you for vocalizing all this — and maybe sometime I’ll get up the courage to Vlog with you all!
You are beautiful inside and out! Thanks for the update. I’m sad you’re closing shop since I haven’t been able to order a neon bow clutch yet, but I’ll def keep an eye out on IG! I admire you for vlogging about this matter that’s so close to your heart and most of all for having the ability to say no. It’s so hard and I totally relate to feeling like a failure (even though you’re not at all) when you have to turn something down or stop doing something you love.
Good for you! I’m sure the decision was extremely hard to make, but family is so important. Everything will work out! God Bless!
SO proud of you, friend!! Love you!!!
You should be proud that you are in tune enough to know what you need to be doing:) I’m sad I haven’t bought one yet, but I’ll watch for your instagram sales! Exciting things ahead for you my friend! xo
Congratulations, that is a tough decision but sounds like the perfect one for you!! Enjoy your next chapter!!
change is so hard, but the best feeling is when God calls you to something and you know it’s right. he’ll reward you for that. loved you sharing your heart today and being vulnerable with us.
ps- so glad i scooped up a clutch before your shop closed
love mine!
Wow. Super proud of your decision. I know this has been a hard decision and I appreciate how you feel (it was the same for me and my personal blog). It’s a touch sad, edged with excitement.
Your post was eloquent and well done.
xoxo, Tauni
Alissa! I’ve been praying for you – and when I texted you Thursday I had NO idea this was what you’d be posting about. God TRULY put you on my heart for a reason. What a tough decision – but I am SO pleased with how you’re following HIS leading. Prayers and more prayers!

Thank you for putting yourself out there and sharing this via video. I have been struggling to balance certain things and your comment about “closing means failure” struck a chord. Thank you for the insight, you’ve given me a lot to think about today.
