An Outfit-Extravaganza

Hi loves,

I was so excited to have Andrea for Four Flights posting all about fashion yesterday that I decided it would be fun to take a look back down memory lane.

My goal in 2011 was to take outfits from my wardrobe and try and repurpose them. Mix and matching really helped me realize how many clothes I have that can still be used to form a fashion forward outfit. Challenging myself each week helped me overcome the “I don’t have anything to wear, nothing fits since I had my babies.” While I do have some clothes that really do not fit anymore since I had kids, I realized I have plenty that still do fit and I didn’t even realize it. Yay!

So here are a few of my favorite outfits from 2011.

Next week I’ll have a brand new outfit post for you so stay tuned. ;)

So here’s my challenge to you.

Let’s dig deep in our closets, and work on repurposing our wardrobes in 2012.

Are you with me?

A Mission, Open Field and Family Photos

Last month we did our family photo shoot with A Picture Life Photography. Ashley did an amazing job photographing our entire family! Every year my in-laws organize a family photo shoot and this year she let me help her style the shoot. It was so much fun! We went with great, earthy colors and shot at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano and an open field near by the mission. While the kids weren’t super cooperative, all the pictures turned out beautifully.
Now to decide which one I should use for the Christmas card.
