If you remember a couple weeks ago Natalie and I wrote about an amazing organization called SOLE HOPE. They are an organization dedicated to providing jobs for women in Africa, by teaching them how to make shoes for children who suffer from parasites that have dug into their little feet and made homes for themselves, called jiggers. I truly believe that God brought this Organization in my path for a reason and I really hope that you feel, in your hearts, how amazing they are too. I know He wants to do big things through Sole Hope and if we can play, even just, a small role in making a change, how amazing would that be.

Natalie and I also shared in our posts, about the Shoe Cutting Party Natalie is going to host.
The response was incredible and so many of you emailed us about getting involved.
Seriously, this is why I love the blogging community so much. You see a need and you want to be a part of making a wonderful change in someones life. My heart could not be fuller.
It has been incredible!
People are volunteering to have their own shoe cutting parties.
We even have had people offer to donate fabric for our party.
But we wanted to go ONE… STEP… FURTHER.
So in honor of my Birthday and in celebration for all Sole Hope is doing to change the lives of children.

After looking into Sole Hope a little more. I saw that $10 only covers 1 pair of closed toes shoes….this tugged at me. We have two boys and I would never buy just one of them shoes. I wish I could donate 25 pairs of shoes! It is such a great cause and really tugs at my Mommy strings! After talking it over with my husband our family would like to donate $40 1 pair from each of us. Sending blessings this Easter weekend.
