Wife + Mom behind the blog Rags to Stitches.

I’m a huge believer that everyone has a story to share.
And so I blog.
About my life
my loves
my dreams
my struggles
and my personal triumphs.
This is my family.
They are my world.
I love sharing the adventures we go on together as we journey through life.
It’s not all pretty
In fact, somedays it’s down right messy.
But it’s messy in a beautiful + instrumental way
That helps me to strive daily to be the best version of myself I can be.
I began blogging in 2007 when I became pregnant with my daughter.
This community has helped me + uplifted me in ways I never imagined.
And from that community came Coffee Date Fridays.
A day where we come together and vlog or blog and share our hearts.
We encourage and uplift one another.
So next week, pull up a chair, pour a cup of coffee and join us won’t you?
These are my rascals, who we affectionately call Sissy + Buddy.
Each of them have a personality that is larger than life.
They love hard + fight hard, but most importantly they are best friends.
They are overprotective of one another + that makes me love them even more fiercely.
Each day God finds new ways to show himself to me through them.
Through their love for prayer + their journey to have a relationship with their Savior.
This is my better half + my best friend.
He was the one who has encouraged me + loved me through the best and the worst.
I’m so thankful for him.
He has been one of the driving forces behind the blog + lovingly laughs knowing that everything we do could wind up on the blog.
He’s so ok with it that he even vlogged with me a little while back about being a bloggy husband.
I think we might need to do a series together!
