Holy cuteness overload Batman, my little superhero started preschool today!
I feel like today totally snuck up on me. Feels like I was just snuggling him in my arms rocking him to sleep.

Brayden was over the moon excited to start school today.
So much so that it took barely any convincing to let me take some 1st day of school pics.
I think this kid has yet to submit to the fact that his mama is not a scrap booker, but a blogger and I must have pictures of everything.
Then we spent the whole day talking about how he’s a big boy and he told us over + over again everything he loved about preschool.
The only thing we’re unsure of is his new friend Cubby who sat int he quiet chair today.
As if 1st day of preschool excitement isn’t enough, I’m SOOOOO excited to announce that Caroline of Sew Caroline and I are teaming up for our
2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Swap!!!!
eeeek….. I’m so excited!!!
We had so much fun doing this together last year and just had to team up again this year.
This year we’re changing the theme up a little bit + we thought it would be fun to do a Mug Swap for Valentine’s Day.
Here’s how it’ll work:
1. You’ll decide that this is the awesomest thing ever (cause it is) + sign up HERE
2. We will partner you up with another awesome person that you’ll be gifting for the swap.
3. You’ll go out and find an awesome mug and fill that mug with a gift card or candy for your new friend.
4. Then you’ll send your gift to your new friend
Please don’t feel like you need to go overboard, let’s keep the spending limit to $15 max!
Sign ups start today and will end on January 23rd, then we’ll meet back here on February 14th for a Valentines Day Mug Swap Linky Party. We want to see what you got and what you gave. Oh and be sure to use the hashtag #vdaymugswap

Hi, I would looove to participate in the mug swap, I think it’s such a clever idea. But here’s the problem – can I participate even if I live outside of the USA? And I hope that whoever would get me, wouldn’t have a problem with it. I’m already thinking about what I’d put in the mug, so hopefully I can be in this party too!

What a cute update about your kiddo.. sending them away for school does sound scary. My son starts kindergarten this coming Fall and I think that might be a tough one! I signed up for the swap but I think it might have sent two entries– I think I hit tab while typing my favorite places to shop so I hope I didn’t mess anything up!
