Coffee Date: Sometimes I…

If you joined me for coffee today, I’d tell you that…

SOMETIMES I…

Function better on less sleep…that is until the adrenaline runs out.

Daydream that I’m sitting on a beach somewhere all alone sipping a cocktail.

Can’t relax till I’ve had a glass of cold milk.

Get in my car and sing at the top of my lungs and dance like a crazy person…. it’s even more fun when my kids join in.

Feel so overwhelmed by my love for my kids that I just want to scoop them up and squeeze them so tight and never let go.

Throw leftovers away because no one in my house really likes to eat them.

Break out in song during a conversation with friends… some of you already know this because I’m totally guilty of doing it in my emails too.

Tend to leave organized stacks of papers, crafting supplies and fabric all over my house and tell myself “it’s clean.”

Talk to my husband about my bloggy friends even though he has no idea who some of them are…. you know… because I love y’all so much. In fact the idea for this post was borrowed from this friend of mine.

Worry about Google Friend Connect (GFC) going away because I don’t want to loose touch with you.

But then I am so overtaken by how grateful I am that you all read my blog and even leave me a comment. I love your emails, phone calls, text messages, letters….. I remind myself I don’t need to worry.

You’re gonna keep hanging out with me right? After all we’re all bff’s! At least we are in my book!

Just want to say Thank You… all of you … for being my friend.

Love you all!

Stay in touch.

Hi friends,

Just stopping by real quick to let you know that as of March 1st, 2012, Google Friend Connect (GFC) will no longer work for Non-Blogger sites. Now that I’ve made the switch to WordPress I now fall in that category.

I love all of you and I’m so grateful for you and would love for you to continue to follow along.

Here are a couple ways you can stay in touch after March 1st.

You can follow via:

Facebook

Twitter

Google+

Pinterest

Bloglovin’

Subscribe Via RSS

You can also enter your email address and get all your new Rags to Stitches posts via email.

or you can follow along via my current favorite way to follow blogs….

Hello Cotton.

You’ll notice I’ve already added Hello Cotton to my site and soon after March 1st you will no longer see the GFC option.

I hope you like me enough to stick around.

Happy Hump Day friends!

What I Wore: Dress N’ Skinny’s

“It is well.

It is well.

It is well, it is well with my soul”

This is so much of how I’ve been feeling lately.

My soul feels refreshed.

My cup is full…. overflowing really.

It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way.

Wearing: Denim – AG Jeans//Dress – Gap// Sweater – Anthroplogie// Necklace – Three Sisters Jewelry

I can’t fully express it, but God’s doing some work on my heart.

Often times I allow myself to get overwhelmed and distracted by life.

I forget who I really am.

And that’s someone who craves friendships…. connections…intimacy.

When I become lost in the trivial things life throws at me, I forget the things that really matter.

This past weekend we caught up with friends for dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday and had new friends over for a BBQ Sunday night.

Was it jam packed?

Absolutely!

Was I exhausted yesterday?

Yes!

But…

it was the great kind of exhaustion.

The kind that comes from knowing that my soul needed a refreshing, and that’s exactly what it got.

How was your weekend friends?

P.S I cleaned out my closet this weekend too and found this dress and sweater. I put it on and my hubs said, “cute!” I was sold! What do you think?

Because it’s too funny not to.

I’m sure my little man is going to blush when he sees this one day, but it’s seriously too hilarious not to post.

this kid is obsessed with his undies.

obsessed with wearing them over his diaper.

obsessed with wearing all 6 pairs he has…. at the same time.

this little man also has a sock obsession.

he loves to wear them on his hands and his feet.

this little kid cracks me up.

and it makes me love him all that much more.
